Whether we are designing a for a new construction or a remodel, we always have spirited conversations around the dining room. We feel like the dining room can be a waste of space for some families that only use it 1-2 times per year. In this case, we try to design a space that is multi-functional. Both of the photos below are actually taken in one dining space. We created a dining nook on one side of the room and a sitting space on the other side of the room. This client uses these spaces year round.

Okay, we admit we adore Kim Kardashian and we are obsessed with her house! Have you seen her dining room? It’s so simple and authentic. Axel Vervoordt designed it and we love it….
Although we love neutrals, a pop of color is also lovely. We added these blue wool chairs into this dining space for a color pop. We designed this custom live edge table with a lucite base for our client and we love the way it all turned out. This would be a great place for a Thanksgiving meal!
